Developed in response to ELV, RoHS, and WEEE directives, Iridite NCP is an environmentally friendly chemical process that creates a protective conversion coating on aluminium and its alloys. This finish eliminates the need for hazardous hexavalent and trivalent chromium, while offering corrosion protection that rivals conventional chromate coatings. It complies with ASTM B117 and MIL-C5541 standards for electrical contact resistance and serves as an excellent primer or paint base. Additionally, no curing time is needed before applying a topcoat, and the finish remains stable even after baking.
